Tried and Tested Hair Products

This has been a highly requested post and I am excited to share my favorite hair products!

As a blonde that tries to prolong visits to the hair salon, I do my best to take care of my hair and use products that will keep my hair looking and feeling great. I genuinely wanted to share how I feel about my favourite products, so keep reading to hear more about my top hair care items.

Favorite Everyday Shampoo and Conditioner

I recently discovered Function of Beauty through a targetted Facebook ad, and they totally got me. They make custom shampoo and conditioners based on your hair type. You fill out a quiz about your hair type and they add the ingredients to best reach your hair goals. You can even pick your preferred scent and colours! They customize your bottles to put your name on them and you can add pumps for the bottles. See the photo above. I have tried them twice and I'm super happy with the way my hair looks and feels post-shower.

The Best Purple Shampoo

I have tried multiple purple shampoos to keep my hair from looking brassy and let me tell you it has been a journey to find one that I love. Some of my favorites have been the Lush Daddy-O, but I found it didn't quite give me the ashy look I was going for. Milkshake also has a fantastic purple shampoo and it works really well. I recently picked up the Kristen Ess The One shampoo at Target and I'm hooked. It is by far the best at making my hair feel clean and totally takes out any brass in my hair. It's inexpensive and works SO great! You can get Kristen Ess' hair care from as well!

Top Hair Oil's

I had been using the Redavid Orchid hair oil, which is amazing and recently switch over to Loma Nourishing Hair Oil. Both are fantastic and are very similar. Loma is chalked full of anti-oxidants and protects your hair against heat damage. It also smells like candy and speeds up drying time after using it when you get out of the shower. I also use Ouai's Volumizing spray before I put on my hair oil and it helps add some extra volume before

The Best Dry Shampoo

I have tried a multitude of different dry shampoos from natural to aerosol. Having thin hair my hair looks oily pretty quickly and I usually wash my hair every other day. My best friend introduced me the Batiste XXL Volume dry shampoo and I can go an extra two days without washing my hair! I have tried other Batiste dry shampoos, but haven't found one that I truely love until the XXL volume. I highly suggest it!

Great Hairspray

I usually rotate between two different hairsprays that I buy consistently. I really like the Tresemme Tres Two Extra Hold Hairspray and the Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil and Shea Butter Hairspray. They both smell great and have a pretty good amount of hold without weighing down my hair. I use this when I wear my hair pulled back in a bun or on my freshly curled locks.

*I was gifted product from Function of Beauty, but all other products were purchased and the reviews are 100% my honest opinion.
