Warm Up With Winter Essentials

It has been an extremely cold December here in Vancouver. We have resorted to wearing snow boots and toques to the office. Emily just returned from two months in South East Asia so she has been feeling extra chilly. We used to spend our winters on the ski hill, but since both moving out west we have become quite accustomed to warmer winters.

With this crazy cold spell we are having we also wanted to share our favourite items to help keep you warm this winter. Most of these items we are looking to score on Boxing day!

Equip yourself with a cozy coat! There is almost nothing worse than braving the cold in a jacket that doesn't keep you warm. We are especially fond of Fjallraven coats. They are durable, timeless, and functional. Some of our top picks are:

Keep the heat in with a warm toque / beanie. Something that covers your noggin' and your ears are key. Frozen ears are not happy ears.

Lastly, make sure your face, hands and feet are toasty. These three items are essential in keeping warm and are also super cute!

Some of our favourite things to do to stay warm this winter are:
1. Have a cup of coffee or tea, preferably from Blenz
2. Wear the thickest socks or slippers you own
3. Snuggle with a loved one or pet
4. Throw on the comfiest sweater you have
5. Curl up by a fire with a BIG glass of wine

Have a warm and happy holidays!
