The night started with beers, silent auctions and conversation. It ended with applause and a group of happy fashion school graduates. The show was put on by the fashion class of 141 at John Casablancas Institute. (see my last post) It was a fantastic show and there were many pieces that I could see myself wearing. We were spoiled and got to sit front and center. The looks were well put together and the clothing left us wanting more.

The setting was perfect for the show. Space-like decorations and deconstructivism lined the U shaped runway. Each model had slicked back hair with clay smudged over their temples paired with dark lips. They sauntered down the runway each in a different variation of dusted military boot. Metallics, body con dresses, chains, flowing capes and dresses were only some of the interesting elements used in the show.

My favourite piece at the show. Extra long hooded jacked with leather sleeves.
Ksusha and I after the show.
A big congratulations to the class of 141: Drew Hertz, Gina Bukovnik, Gaby Morin, Julieanne Buma, Sabrina Diaz, Devon Clark, Meredith Lougheed, Leah Chahwan, Carolyn McCauley and Mortar Pistil Jewelry and Silpada Jewelry. The show was done with professional style and grace. You will all go on to big things.
